Our Giuliana is ONE YEAR OLD! How did this happen? I will never forget the feeling I had going to the hospital knowing we were about to have a baby and the insane amount of love I felt when I saw those bright eyes staring back up at me immediately. So overwhelmed with love and happiness I couldn't even take it! Thinking about it now brings back the same emotions and I just cannot believe that we are parents to such an amazing girl. We are in such shock and denial that a whole year has gone by and our little baby is turning into a little girl. As sad as that makes me, I am also so excited for each and every day. At this stage, her development is so rapid so it feels like she is learning and doing new things all the time. It is hard to believe how much we have gone through with her in such a short period of time. From the sleepless nights to the now chasing her around the house, every day with this girl has been one of the best. It keeps getting better and better and we couldn't be more thankful for our healthy, happy and beautiful girl. With that, here are a few of her newest accomplishments. Happy birthday Giuliana!! We love you so very much!
Month 12 Accomplishments....According to Mom & Dad
*Giuliana is officially walking! This past week she went from taking a few steps and falling, to walking the whole stretch of the living room. She pulls herself up on something and away she goes!
*She absolutely loves her security blankets. She can't sleep without them and has to rub them on her face. She will grab them and say "night, night." So cute.
*Lil G loves to be tickled and cannot contain herself when we tell her the tickle monster is coming! The belly laughs are to die for!
*Sitting in the bathtub is so overrated. She would rather stand up and try to grab everything possible while we try and scrub-a-dub. She is too busy trying to discover how to get out and grab all the shampoos and soaps we have around.
*She has recently learned how to open all the cabinets and drawers in the kitchen. You should see the proud look on her face when we tell her "no." More baby proofing is on the top of our priority list!

We had a birthday party for her yesterday and it was so much fun! Thank you to all of you who helped put it together and all of you who were able to make it and celebrate with us!
