Ten Months Old!

It is here again! Another month zipping on by. Giuliana is 10 months old and I can't believe that its time to start planning her first birthday! Now that she is finally past her cold, she's back and busier than ever. The things she does and discovers on a daily basis blow my mind at times and she's starting to look more and more like a little girl each day. I miss my baby! But I must say that this age is really great right now. Her curiosity is out of this world and she has to know everything that is going on around her. It is truly amazing. Here are some of her latest and greatest accomplishments, and of course pictures!

Month Ten Accomplishments...According to Mom & Dad

*Giuliana is officially eating real foods! I was so surprised that the doctor said we could pretty much start feeding her real food at this age. I thought we would have to wait until at least one year before introducing her to meats and fish, but we got the green light for this. So far she is loving all the different flavors of chicken, fish, of course pasta and, well, let's be honest...our girl is not one to turn down a meal!

*Along with eating real foods, she is starting to feed herself with her spoon (apparently I'm not moving fast enough) and she loves picking up food off of her high chair tray. Pretty sure she is going to be a lefty. She is also obsessed with Gerber Puffs. And so am I.

*Giuliana finds it so great that she can climb up the stairs faster than we would like. She gets a kick out of knowing we are following right behind her, which makes her try and crawl even faster. This girl will skip walking altogether and be running in no time.

*She still loves to hear her voice and is amazed at how loud she can scream, especially when we are trying to eat at a restaurant. What can I say, she's a happy girl and can't contain her excitement.

*We're working on expanding her vocabulary but she still loves to say Wow, Whoa, Dada, Mama/Nana--sometimes I can't distinguish between the two--and has most recently come VERY close to Hi and Hot. Must be all of her frequent visitors who come with their Starbucks coffee  :)

I can't believe how fast she is growing and all of the new things she is learning. We are so blessed to have such a happy and healthy girl!

Baby girl loves eating food on her own! She's busy picking out all the Puffs to eat first :)

We hated seeing her so sick and uncomfortable the past few weeks, but snuggles like this made it better for all of us.

Our Little Miss American Girl on her first Fourth of July!

Her smiles are contagious and her laugh will melt your heart!

We recently switched out her infant car seat (tear!) for this Recaro convertible car seat and she absolutely loves it.

Photo shoots are really fun these days. NOT! Giuliana does not want to stay still for anything! I must exhaust all my efforts to make her sit in one spot and smile while taking five hundred pictures hoping that at least one will come out. She's onto me as you can tell.

"See if you can get me Mama!"
 "How's my headband?"

Check out this moment of deep thought as to what her next move will be, followed by the stare down challenge.
"Bring it. I could do this all day girlfriend, I'm 10 months old you know."

Fine. You win, Giuliana, you win.
