Precious Pictures

We are approaching the 6 month mark and I could not be more sad and happy at the same time. I'm sad because she is literally growing every day (hello look at those cheeks!) and I miss her being the tiny little infant that fit perfectly into my arms. On the other hand, each day she shows us new sides of her personality and we discover she knows more than we think she does. Just wanted to share a few recent pictures of our not so little girl. She still loves bath time which is great and she can't get enough of her Bright Stars Bounce Bounce Baby!

I spy with my little eye...

Holiday Weekend Cuteness

Just thought I'd share a picture of little Miss G over the holiday weekend. You know it was filled with walks, trips to Target, snuggles, kisses, coffee and her new sunglasses of course! Here she is during one of our walks at the bay, ridin' with her BFF Sophie. I wish every weekend was a holiday weekend!

Currently Loving...

Being on the go most of the time, I love nothing more than to be comfortable especially when I have to run errands all day or just to feel casual and cozy at the same time. I can't get enough of the Fall and Winter seasons because sweaters, boots and scarves are part of an every day outfit whether you're sitting at home, going to work, or going out in public period. I'm hoping it cools down here in San Diego (are we even going to have a winter this year?!) so I can enjoy this attire as long as possible. These are some of my latest loves!

Chunky Sweaters I can finally bundle up in my sweaters and scarves and I couldn't be more excited!. This is one I got from Urban Outfitters and it is so comfortable. It's exactly what I want to wear every single day.

Fingerless Gloves (and matching scarf!)These are amazing when my office is an icebox, but I still have to type on the computer. And they're effing cute.
Pitch Perfect I am so obsessed with this movie right now. If I had the time, I would watch it on repeat. Since I obviously don't, I bought the soundtrack and I rock out to it in my car, at my desk, pretty much all the time. And I just found out there will be a sequel. Yessssssss!

Fun Coffee Sleeves I don't know why I love these so much but I do. They are so creative, cute, and fun and it just adds so much more to your average coffee cup, doesn't it?

Scarves, Scarves, Scarves The best accessory for any Fall or Winter outfit is definitely a scarf. This one is also from Urban Outfitters and is so so warm.

Relaxed Pullovers These types of shirts are my go to for the weekends and when I get home from work. These are from SaSea Décor on Etsy.

Some of G's current favorites include her ADORABLE sunglasses and her Bounce Bounce Baby! She loves looking stylish and being able to bounce around and play with her toys.

Happy Valentine's Day

Our first Valentine's Day with Giuliana was just LOVEly! Each day is so much fun with her and her smile is contagious. These little holidays are even more fun and another opportunity to decorate her--I mean dress her up, and give her a million kisses. We're also very excited it happens to be a holiday weekend so I can spend even more time with her and that means walks, coffee, books, and repeat for three whole days!

Enjoy the long weekend and Happy (belated) Valentine's Day from Giuliana!

Month 5 Favorites

Another month, another list of favorites! Here are our latest...

 1. Silicone Bibs are a must during feeding times these days. They look funny but let me tell you, they really are helpful. I wasn't planning on using these for a few more months, but it seemed appropriate after the first cereal encounter. It is easy to clean, keeps her clothes dry and it also catches any excess food (or spit up). I know these are going to be essential when she starts eating real food so everything doesn't end up in her lap.

2. Gerber Cereal is a new favorite in the house. As I mentioned, she is still getting used to eating off of a spoon and occasionally gets frustrated when she's really hungry and this spoon business seems like too much work, but there are times when we can't seem to get it to her fast enough!

3. Sophie the Giraffe I think this is a given. It is the best (and cutest) teething toy around. I don't know why, how, or all the details behind it, but everyone swore by it and I see why. It is easily her favorite toy!

4. Teething Tablets With the teething in full force, she can be extremely restless at times. It is so sad to watch and know that she is probably uncomfortable and in pain. The teething tablets have been really helpful in getting her to relax and give her a break from her most likely throbbing gums.

5. Fisher Price Playmat This is has been a fun introduction to her having independent playtime. She likes to look up at all of the hanging toys, but when it becomes over stimulating, we take them down and just let her lay or roll around in her own space.

Five Months Old!

I am seriously so sad that time is going faster that I would like. Five months and Giuliana is more and more active each day. She's also teething like crazy and we should hopefully be seeing some teeth soon. Between the drool and endless fists/toys in her mouth we are all impatiently waiting for these teeth to appear! Giuliana is so curious and wants to be entertained all the time. She loves to be a part of whatever you are doing and makes sure you know it.

Month Five Accomplishments...(According to Mom and Dad)

* Conversations are this girl's favorite thing! She is chatty chatty chatty and happiest when she is lying down looking up at us. That's when she really gets going.

*Rolling over is also one of her new favorite activities. She can only go to one side and is still learning how to roll back, but she has seriously perfected the right side roll. Especially when we put her down for bed and about a million times throughout the night. What can we say; she's pretty proud of herself.

* She reaches for toys and objects and definitely notices if we put a new toy in the mix. And naturally, everything goes into her mouth.

* She has started eating cereal and it is so cute and messy. She's still mastering the the whole process which is why she tends to end up with cereal from cheek to cheek and occasionally in her nose. Wipes are a must during feeding time.

* Discovering she can reach her feet and put them in her mouth is a new development and a must when we are getting undressed for bath time, or on the changing table. Is there anything more adorable than a baby with three toes in her mouth as she's trying to talk to you? I don't think so.

*She absolutely loves books and has now started trying to hold them herself. My smart girl!

It's safe to say our little Giuliana is developing into her own little person and she's going to be on the move in no time!

Happy 5 month birthday to our precious baby girl!
